Our Ambassador: Pangolins
Educating youth and communities about every prohibited wildlife species can be overwhelming. That’s why we’ve chosen the pangolin as the face of our initiative — a striking symbol that captures attention and inspires action. Across all our projects, the pangolin helps us engage communities and raise awareness about wildlife protection. Critically endangered, pangolins are listed on Laos’ Red List, the IUCN Red List, and CITES Appendix I, making them a global icon of conservation.
Our initiatives
Our core initiatives maintain a non-profit commitment to the community and environment. Currently, the project is sustained through seed funding and strategic partnerships.
To ensure long-term, reliable funding for our projects, we established our keychain line as a sustainable revenue source. This is a unique product that integrates wildlife conservation education into souvenirs made from renewable resources. Specifically, 10% of all sales from these keychain products are dedicated to directly sustaining our Four Pillars of community empowerment. This model guarantees that our economic activity actively fuels and reinforces our core social and environmental mission. Activities funded by this revenue are clearly marked as part of the "Keychain Profit Initiative" in our published blog posts below, allowing visitors to see the direct impact of their purchase on our project pages.
